Villa Shangri-La is located in the heart of Catalonia, midway between Barcelona and the French border. Set on the edge of the Les Gavarres National Park just 5kms inland from the sparkling Mediterranean Sea, the villa enjoys stunning panoramic views over the ocean and surrounding hillsides. Built in a traditional Catalan style our modern villa has 4 double bedrooms, all of which enjoy fabulous views and will sleep up to 9 people. The villa has a private, heated swimming pool and large outdoor terrace and patio areas.

In the 1933 novel "Lost Horizon" by British author James Hilton, 'Shangri-La' is a mystical, harmonious valley. The name has become synonymous with any earthly paradise - a permanently happy land, isolated from the outside world. In the novel, the people who live at Shangri-La are almost immortal, living years beyond the normal lifespan and only very slowly aging in appearance!
